Chapter Fourteen

“I stay,” he whispered, brushing his lips across hers.
“But… what about the game?”  Her heart was beating very fast in her chest.  She was having a little difficulty breathing. The thought of him staying the night was exciting and a little scary.
“I leave early, but I not leave you alone tonight.  You should have stayed with me last night or I should have come back with you.  I not leave you alone.”
“Alex, the security system will work. I will be okay.”
“I not leaving,” he said, brushing his lips across her forehead.   He ran his long fingers across her neck and back into her hair.  His eyes were such a deep blue tonight.  She couldn’t pull away from his gaze.  She rubbed the short beard on his jaw.
“It make your chin red,” he said, brushing her irritated skin with his thumb. “I shave if you want.”
“NO!” she exclaimed, “No, I like it.  You’re very handsome without it too, I’ve seen pictures. But it’s… very sexy.”
He flashed a crooked grin at her that was incredibly seductive and she couldn’t keep from kissing him again.  She stood and reached her hand out to him. He looked up at her, took it and followed her to the bedroom. She was incredibly nervous, but she wanted him more than any man she’d ever known.  She led him to the bed.  She ran her fingers beneath his shirt feeling the soft skin and firm muscles.  He grabbed the bottom as she pushed it up and he pulled it off.  His chest was amazing, strong and well-defined.  His chest hair felt soft as she ran her trembling hands across his chest.  His shoulders were massive. He could crush her small frame in his arms if he wanted to. She could hardly take her eyes off his honey-colored skin. He lifted her chin and kissed her again. He slid his fingers along her blouse and began unbuttoning it.  She felt his fingers brush the tops of her breast and fought hard to contain her nerves. He kissed down her neck, softly and achingly slow.  He pushed her blouse off her shoulders and it slid down her arms to the floor.  He traced the outline of her red lace bra.
“Caps red,” he smiled.  “Not black and gold?”
“Not Caps, Russia maybe,” she teased him back. He leaned into her pushing her down to the bed.  Her heart was racing as he lay next to her.  He caressed the skin across her stomach, kissing her neck again.  His lips traveled to her shoulder and he slipped the bra strap off.  Her breathing was becoming much more rapid. She was close to hyperventilating. Her hands were shaking and she was trembling all over.  He looked into her eyes and kissed her cheek softly.  Then he lay back on the side of the bed and let out a deep breath.
“You not ready.”
“What?” she exclaimed. “Of course I am. I am ready. I… Iwant you, Alex.” She reached for him and he took her hand. He kissed it and rolled over again looking into her eyes.
“I know. But you still scared.”
“I’m not scared of you, Alex,” she cried.
“Not me. But eyes still scared,” he kissed her fingers again.  “I wait.”
“Alex,” she protested. But he put a finger to her lips and shook his head.
“I wait.”  He tugged her arm over urging her to roll away from him. He snuggled up behind her and held her in his arms. She could feel his entire length up against her back and legs. He felt so warm. She ran her hand down his arm and entwined her fingers in his. A few minutes later, his breathing slowed and became more rhythmic. The sounds of his deep breaths lulled her to sleep.
